Graecophalangium

Genus
The genus Graecophalangium was originally described by Roewer (1923:755). Into this genus he placed G. militare (Koch, 1839):34 and his new species G. atticum.

Type species
A type species for this genus was not designated until Crawford, 1992:22, when G. atticum was selected.

Notes:

1 Originally described in the genus Opilio (O. militaris). Transferred from Opilo to Graecophalangium by Roewer (1923:756) when he created the genus.

Nomina nuda

The following species were announced at the 24th and 25th Congress of European Arachnology. Such announcements are excluded under section 9.10 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. To date, we have been unable to find any valid publication of these names and they are therefore listed here as nomina nuda.
